Filmquest Reports Price Increase

BOLINGBROOK, IL | Filmquest announces that effective with shipments on or after April 1, 2018, prices will be increased on all Questar polyester films by a minimum of $0.10/lb. The prepaid freight policy will remain the same at 5,000 lbs. Current agreements and blanket orders may have temporary price protection from this increase.

President and CEO John Felinski says, “The industry continues to see costs escalating for raw material, energy, transportation, fluctuating currency valuations, as well as growing global demand as the polyester film market emerges from an oversupply imbalance for the past few years. In response, polyester film manufacturers worldwide have adroitly raised prices to offset these rising costs to the marketplace to ensure supply chain continuity and sustained future growth.”
