Omet XFlex Now in Wider Width

LECCO, ITALY | Omet announces the XFlex X6 all-in-one-pass, multi-process flexo press is now offered in a 20-in. width (530 mm). The company says the market determined the need for the wider press and says it can be highly competitive for package printers and especially for label converters needing to increase plant productivity without affecting general costs.

The all-substrate press is said to offer reduced waste with a short web path, minimized set-up times, and quick job changeovers, plus the addition of advanced register controls (Vision-2) as well as top-technology waste stripping and die-cutting (Monotwin Cut).
