OMET Plans to Launch Presses in May

LECCO, ITALY | On May 19, 2015, OMET will unveil the new Varyflex V2 mid-web offset printing press for flexible packaging and cartons, available in widths of 670 mm (26 in.) and 850 mm (33 in.). The offset group with sleeves is said to offer high print quality, maximum flexibility, improved accessibility to the press units, and ease of use.

The event will also introduce the new iFLEX label press, said to usher in a new era for narrow web printing with the first application of lasers in flexography. The iFLEX is also reported to offer features that simplify the printer’s work and optimize machine performance.

This event is among many organized by the company that will take place during Converflex, taking place May 19–23) at the Fiera Milano in Milan. OMET will feature a Technology Gallery at the show in booth C200.

From May 20–22 OMET will open the doors of its Lecco plant, reachable from Fiera Milano in less than an hour with a free shuttle service, to customers who want to watch demonstrations on Varyflex V2 Offset, iFLEX, and other machines in the company’s range.
