Karlville Collaborates with HP Indigo

MIAMI, FL | Karlville, supplier of shrink sleeve converting solutions, has been named the first HP-certified HP Indigo Pack Ready provider, driving the development of the Pack Ready laminator for the growing digitally printed flexible packaging market. Karlville started working in alliance with HP Indigo more than seven years ago, with the introduction of shrink sleeve converting solutions designed specifically for the digital market.

Karlville offers a line of dedicated solventless and combi lamination (solventless, solvent, water, and/or registered cold seal) solutions for webs 300–800 mm wide, specifically targeting the digital and narrow/mid-web flexo markets. HP Indigo also recently selected Karlville as a global ally for solventless and combi lamination solutions.
Becoming an HP Indigo Pack Ready provider is the next step in Karlville’s evolution and a reaffirmation of the company’s commitment to providing innovative solutions for HP Indigo customers.
HP Indigo Pack Ready is a set of post-print converting solutions for HP Indigo digital presses that is said to provide zero-cure-time lamination while instantly creating a strong bond between HP Indigo digitally printed substrate and Pack Ready laminate film, enabling digital converters to print, laminate, and pack on demand for immediate time-to-market.
The Pack Ready laminator by Karlville is designed for lower environmental impact and simple operation, and company says it can easily be connected to the HP PrintOS cloud-based operating system.

Karlville will introduce the new product portfolio at drupa 2016 alongside HP’s packaging portfolio. At Labelexpo Americas 2016, Karlville and HP jointly will present a solution for the North and South American narrow web market. During both shows, Karlville will be taking machine reservations and pre-production orders for the new product that includes the HP Indigo Pack Ready Laminator by Karlville.
