Harper Announces New Products

CHARLOTTE, NC | Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America reports the recent introduction of the HIVE (High Imaging Volume Engraving) line of engravings series, said to deliver high levels of quality and predictability with exclusive print performance. This line includes company’s exclusive patent-pending Cladless Anilox Sleeve Technology, which features no aluminum cladding, lighter weight, corrosion resistance, and more. The product was shown at the recent drupa 2016. 

Company also reports the QD ink proofing and flatbed printing system was well received at drupa. The system reportedly offers printing features and accessories that minimize the amount of expensive materials necessary to test printed electronic concepts and ideas. Expanded engraving geometries and volumes allow proofers to accommodate the different deposit properties of functional inks needed for functional and printed electronics.

The new QD Laboratory Master Flatbed Printer also generated a lot of positive attention, Harper says. Printer features a module construction with programmable travel speed and digital display allowing travel speeds to be set in inches or centimeters and maximum speeds of 1,000 in./min or 2,500 c/min.
