Global Specialty Products Cleaner Is “Green”

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ | Global Specialty Products USA offers OPTIMA 2000 FG Aqueous Cleaner, said to be an environmentally sensible ink, adhesive, resin cleaner, metal degreaser, and general-purpose cleaner for use in printing, food and beverage packaging, processing, and handling facilities.

Product is NSF Certified (a not-for-profit organization that provides public health and safety risk management solutions). It is designed to remove all types of polymeric, water-based, latex polymers, coatings, and varnishes, as well as UV-based inks and adhesives from all types of printing equipment including rubber, plastic, stainless steel surfaces, and all press equipment (anilox, ceramic, and rubber rollers, photopolymer plates and more).

Cleaner is said to be highly effective when used in steam or mechanical cleaning devices, immersion with or without ultrasonic cavitation, spray under immersion, high-pressure cabinet washers, or in-line automated cleaning systems. It is reduced VOCs, non-HAPs, non-flammable, and non-hazardous. Also reportedly does not contain any raw materials known to the State of California (Proposition 65) to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm or listed on SECTION 112(b) OF HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS.
