SUN Automation Print Unit Suited for Boxes

GLEN ARM, MD | SUN Automation Group, a global supplier in the corrugated industry, announces the release of the SUN Spectrum Print Unit for Inside Printing. The unit enables customers to single pass print on both sides of a corrugated box. The inside printing allows for custom messaging and branding on the inside of the box that can be used to leverage additional advertising space or other messaging.
Unit is said to be efficient and flexible and to able to be retrofitted seamlessly to nearly any machine. Company says servo controls make it easy to integrate the solution with ease and maximum productivity and comes equipped with a Harmonic Drive Digital Register said to provide maintenance-free operation and registration adjustments within 0.001 in.—all of which greatly reduce costly downtime.
The SunTrac Vacuum Transfer system, which comes standard, reportedly permits accurate sheet control, allowing for more productivity and optimal production speeds. For those needing quick drying time, there is also room available for an interstation drying unit.
