IIMAK Offers Longer Thermal Transfer Ribbon

AMHERST, NY | IIMAK announces the NETFlex+ XL ribbon said to provide the same strong performance as NETFlex+ but allows for longer length ribbons in Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO) printers, providing higher productivity and less downtime.
Company says this next-generation flexible packaging ribbon provides 20% more ribbon for less changeovers on shifts and more throughput of printed product. All NETFlex+ and NETFlex+ XL ribbons are approved for incidental direct food contact under FDA 21 CFR 175.
Other reported benefits of the new ribbon include the following:
- Longer length provides less ribbon changeovers
- Increased productivity of printed products
- Excellent print quality at all speeds to 40 ips
- Performs well in ambient and cold printing temperatures
- Highly compatible at various darkness/energy settings
- Produces dark, black imprints.
Recommended stocks include OPP/metallized PET, PET/metallized PET, PET/LDPE, and polyethylene.
