OMET To Show Combo Press at Labelexpo Europe

LECCO, ITALY | OMET will feature the XFlex X6 at Labelexpo Europe 2013, September 24–27 in Brussels, Belgium. 

The press configuration to be displayed is a mix of flexo and offset technology. Company says the new offset units are equipped with light sleeves to further increase further the machine benefits of rapid change, user-friendliness, and general ergonomics. 

New benefits reportedly include low cost of prepress, ease of ink management, and the inner process flexibility. The XFlex X6 in the flexo+offset configuration is offered in widths to 670 mm.

The company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, also will feature the XFlex X4 press, said to be gaining market share in many parts of the world and to be well suited for start-up companies with low investment budgets and inexperienced personnel.

The Varyflex press will be featured in larger widths, to 850 mm. It is said to provide package printers with faster startup, reduced waste at makeready, interchangeability of processes, and all-in-one-pass quality printing results.
