Flexo Platemakers to Celebrate 25th Annual Conference in California
The Flexographic Pre-Press Platemakers Association (FPPA) will host its 25th Annual Conference, February 25 – 27, 2024, at the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California. For a quarter of a century, leaders in the flexographic platemaking industry have convened to address challenges, share insights, and explore opportunities. 2024’s conference will be no exception.
To honor the history and legacy of the association and industry, the conference will feature an Industry Stalwart Panel, including Dan Fry (MacDermid), Sam Merenda (Graphics 2 Press), and Laura Wright (CSW). With over a century of experience combined, these stalwarts will share insights about their careers as well as the past and future of the industry. Colleen Twomey, professor of graphic communication at Cal Poly, will moderate the panel.
Knowledge-sharing and technical education will be another cornerstone of the conference. In addition to a keynote presentation from Brian Foley, National Sales Manager - Corrugated Board at BOBST North America, the conference will feature technical sessions from industry suppliers. The current slate includes MacDermid, DuPont, and XSYS.
Attendees will also enjoy a variety of networking opportunities. Specifically, they can participate in one-on-one sessions between platemakers and suppliers, fostering collaboration and deepening business relationships.
“FPPA is thrilled to celebrate our 25th Annual Conference in sunny California,” said Peter R. Cappas, FPPA Board Chair. “We welcome industry professionals new and established to connect, learn, and grow together.”
