PPC Hosts Paperboard Packaging Design Webinar & Calls for Competition Entries
The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) has announced Designing Brilliance: Behind the Artistry in Innovative Paperboard Packaging, an upcoming webinar presented by Clearwater Paper Corp., scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM EDT. The webinar is slated to offer industry professionals a unique opportunity to gain insights into the intricacies of packaging design and will showcase select winners from the prestigious 2023 North American Paperboard Packaging Competition as they unveil the secrets behind their award-winning designs. The submission period for the 2024 Paperboard Packaging Competition is open through May 1, 2024, celebrating the best carton designs in the industry, with entries coming from both major corporations as well as small, family-owned box shops.
The webinar will feature esteemed speakers, including Hilda Murray, Executive Vice President of TPC Printing & Packaging; Pat Shields, Director of Structural Design—Packaging Solutions of WestRock; and Dan Ahern, Director of Global Design and Innovation of Graphic Packaging International. These industry veterans will provide an insider's perspective, sharing their experiences and shedding light on the collaborative processes, innovative techniques, and customer-centric approaches that drive success in the paperboard packaging industry.
Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights into various aspects of packaging design, from the initial ideation stage to the final delivery. By leveraging modern technology and adopting innovative methodologies, these industry leaders continuously push the boundaries of paperboard packaging and set new standards for excellence and sustainability.
