Keene Technology Now Owned by Quantum Design

SOUTH BELOIT, IL | Keene Technology Inc. (KTI), a manufacturer of automatic splicers and turret rewinders, has announced today that Quantum Design, Loves Park, IL, has taken ownership of the company.

As part of the ownership change, Danny Pearse has taken over as president and Dave Culvey has taken over as VP of KTI. They currently serve as president and VP of Quantum Design and have more than 30 years of experience in the controls engineering, electrical engineering, and manufacturing industries. They plan to keep the company in its current location in South Beloit and retain its current name.

“We are very excited about the new opportunities at KTI under this change,” says Pearse. “Dave and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of different manufacturing and engineering companies over the years that have continuously exceeded our expectations. We are looking at this change as the ‘Beginning of a New Era’ for KTI and look forward to making improvements that will better the customer relationships as well as the overall product lines.”
