Badger Pad Plugs Protect Boxed Rolls

GREENVILLE, WI | Badger Plug offers specially designed pad plugs for roll products packaged in corrugated boxes. 

Company says when conventional pad plugs are used to suspend and protect rolls in boxes, the roll can sometimes break through the box during storage, shipping, and handling. Damaged boxes can be challenging to handle and stack, and the roll can also become susceptible to damage.

The special pad plugs are designed with extended corners or reverse flanges said to provide a broader footprint to better distribute roll weight inside the box. Reportedly, plugs designed with alternating deck surface can better ensure the integrity of the box ends.
