Rotoflex, Scantech Alliance to Strengthen Product Line

ST. LOUIS, MO | Rotoflex, a business unit of Mark Andy and a supplier of inspection rewind and finishing equipment, reports a strategic alliance with Scantech Automation, Toronto, ON, Canada, an electrical design and engineering company that produces horizontal inspection rewind equipment. Scantech has more than 30 years of expertise and brings with it a long history, including some of the engineering for the Arpeco Tracker.

Reportedly, this alliance will strengthen the Rotoflex product line, enabling the business unit to market, sell, and support Scantech equipment designs exclusively under the Rotoflex brand name. The alliance also brings the financial foundation of Mark Andy, and this operating support and structure will allow for the continued production and manufacture of machines in the Toronto-based facility.

Company says the new Rotoflex team has already started working on extending the equipment line and plans to release two new rewinders later this year at Labelexpo Europe.
