LOVES PARK, IL | Danfoss has been recognized by Ethisphere Magazine as one of 2007's most ethical companies, one of five to be recognized in the Industrial Manufacturing category. According to Ethisphere, The World's Most Ethical Companies methodology analyzes companies that go beyond making statements about doing business ethically to translate those words into action. Winners demonstrate real and sustained ethical leadership within their industries.
Ethisphere uses an eight-step process to collect and screen information before scoring companies relative to industry peers on nine separate criteria, including governance, citizenship, internal systems, legal and regulatory, innovation, executive leadership, industry leadership, perception and reputation, and transparency. Within each of the 30 separate industry categories, companies that had a materially higher aggregate scored compared to their direct competitors were recognized as 2007's World's Most Ethical Companies.
