PCMC Opens New Demo/Technology Center

PRESS RELEASE

GREEN BAY, WI, USA — Paper Converting Machine Co. (PCMC) reports the opening of a new Demo/Technology Center at its Glory Road Facility in Green Bay. According to the OEM, its new center will showcase both machinery for the conversion of nonwovens as well as flexographic printing presses and machinery for customer inspection and use.

Among the flexo machines to be showcased is one of the manufacturer's gearless, central impression (CI) presses — a 50-in.-wide Infiniti — as well as a 26-in.-wide Evolution in-line press. Recent PFFC coverage of PCMC's Infiniti is available at pffc-online.com/mag/flexicon_installs_infiniti/, the September 2004 cover story A Problem Solver's Solution.

PCMC's Clipper RX-200C wipes system and a new lab line — which demonstrates a system the OEM says can unwind, emboss, wet, print, fold, rewind, cut, and coat a wide range of nonwovens substrates — will be part of the nonwovens production equipment/process shown at the Demo/Technology Center.

PCMC will host morning and afternoon flexo demonstrations on:

  • Morning Session, Wednesday, November 3, 2004
  • Afternoon Session, Wednesday, November 3, 2004
  • Morning Session, Thursday, November 4, 2004
