SHANGHAI, CHINA—Keller and Heckman opens an office in Shanghai, China. The office will concentrate on advising clients in Asian regulation of foods and food packaging, drugs, dietary supplements, medical devices, cosmetics, pesticides, consumer products, toys, and industrial and specialty chemicals. The firm now offers services to clients concerning the legal status of ingredients in products and packaging; the effects of local Asian standards; the necessity for and means of obtaining pre-market clearance; regulation of labeling, nutrition, and health claims; advertising; hygiene and inspection requirements; and import/export certifications.
