CMM Expects Jump in International Visitors

NEW YORK, NY—Due to the current weakness of the US dollar, a strong US manufacturing sector, bargain airfares, and inexpensive hotel rooms, organizers of CMM Intl. 2005 expect to see a surge in visitors from Europe and other countries.

"The Euro has consistently been worth 30% more than the dollar for several months and some economists predict it will increase as high as 50% within the next several weeks," says Ian Johnston, president of CMM Intl. "When you combine these savings with the savings of paying for shipping costs in Euros, some EU converters will be able to buy US machinery for less than half of the normal cost."

CMM show management also say that savings don’t stop with the Euro/dollar exchange rate. Bargain airfares to Chicago and discounted hotel rooms also can save converters hundreds of dollars.
