PRESS RELEASE
FORT MILL, SC— The Assn. of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) has revamped the "Ask AIMCAL" feature of its Web site to make it even more useful for members and visitors seeking converting industry resources. The upgraded page is a quick way to locate sources for coated or metallized films or papers, adhesives, and converting equipment and services.
To locate a supplier, individuals send their query on-line using a simple, easy-to-use Ask AIMCAL Request form. Requests may be targeted to any one of nine subject areas: Coated/Laminated Films, Papers, Wovens; Metallized/Vacuum Coated Films, Papers; Coating Equipment/Accessories; Vacuum Coating Equipment/Accessories; Slitting/Rewinding/Die-Cutting; Adhesives/Coatings; Base Films; Base Papers; and All Other Requests. Requests are forwarded to the appropriate AIMCAL member companies for direct reply. Site visitors also may search the AIMCAL SourceBook, which contains contact information for all members and their area(s) of expertise.
The new Ask AIMCAL section also emphasizes the Jobs Forum, which lists job openings in the converting industry, the members-only Patent Review section, an Events Calendar and the widely used Technical Q&A section, where inquiries posted by visitors are answered by members of AIMCAL’s Technical Panel.
