BRATTLEBORO, VT—Fibermark awarded Britney Spears' curious, from Elizabeth Arden, as "Best in Show" at its 12th Annual Specifer Awards. The Specifer Awards program spotlights the year's most innovative package designers using Fibermark materials.
Fibermark developed a custom, 18-pt., vat-dyed board in a deep black shade for the Britney Spears curious line of perfumes and beauty products. Darker materials often are used infrequently in high-traffic retail environments as the finish fades and becomes easily marred by repeated handling.
The Specifier Awards recognize innovation in over 50 categories, including 23 packaging categories. Entries are judged on overall appearance, decoration, printing quality, design, use of color, construction quality, and the relationship of the covering material to the product.
