Pocket Pal Receives ISBN Number

MEMPHIS, TN—To help bookstores and other resellers of Pocket Pal order and maintain sales and inventory levels, International Paper has obtained an Intl. Standard Book Number (ISBN) from R.R. Bowker, the official U.S. ISBN agency used by the publishing industry. The 19th ed. of Pocket Pal has been assigned the following number: ISBN 0-9772716-0-9.
Pocket Pal is used by educators and students, printers, graphic designers, corporations, the advertising community and others. Frank Romano, with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) School of Print Media, is the editor of the 19th ed., which covers the history of printing, printing processes, pre-press, post-press, and paper. The 260-page book has a glossary of more than 550 graphic arts terms and is an ideal introductory tool for students as well as customers involved in printing and graphic arts in a wide range of industries.
