PRESS RELEASE
RONKONKOMA, NY—The organizers of the National Environmental, Health and Safety (NEHS) Conference have announced a significant format change, enhanced to give attendees the flexibility to create environmental- or health/safety-only agendas. While many attendees are responsible for their company’s total EHS activities, others have more specialized responsibilities. New roundtable sessions have also been added to provide more opportunity for peer-to-peer networking. Additionally, the program will no longer be held on the weekend, a decision that reflects attendee sentiment.
The conference is scheduled for March 27–29, 2006, in Indianapolis, IN. Attendees will hear printer case studies and regulatory updates, examine the latest EHS technology, and attend optional, low- cost, certification-level training. Certification options for 2006 have been expanded to include first-aid, OSHA’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER), and train-the-trainer requirements for U.S. EPA’s RCRA hazardous waste regulations.
