QurTech Becomes Fusion UV Systems Distributor

GAITHERSBURG, MD—Fusion UV Systems has appointed QurTech SA as its exclusive distributor in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, and Malta. The announcement was made jointly by David Harbourne, president of Fusion UV Systems, and Oscar Della Schiava, who will have overall responsibilities for QurTech SA effective November 1, 2005. QurTech will start operations in December and be fully operational by January 1, 2006.

Oscar Della Schiava, Managing Director added, “QurTech will have regional managers to cover sales and marketing in France, Italy and Spain and in the future Turkey. The former team of Quantum Technologies in Milan, Italy, who have represented Fusion UV since 1992, will provide technical and engineering support. Beginning November 1, 2005, and until QurTech is fully operational, sales of parts and systems, invoicing and technical support for France, Spain and Portugal will be handled on an interim basis by Quantum Technologies.”
