PRESS RELEASE
FORT WORTH, TX—At its Executive Forum, Resin Technology Inc. (RTi) advised that the the quality of imported resin is as good or better than those produced domestically, and soon will fill the gap left by production shortages, stemming the rate of price increases. RTi acknowledged that large railcar quantities currently aren’t practical, but a steady stream of Gaylord and bag shipments will be found more frequently.
Bill Bowie, COO of RTi, did not rule out a continuation of price volatility, however. Price swings still will create a tough business environment for North American processors.
