TAPPI and RIT Present Symposium

ROCHESTER, NY—TAPPI and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) are collaborating to present the new 2006 Digital Printing Symposium: Emerging Trends and Technologies. The conference will be held June 6-8, 2006, on the RIT campus in Rochester, NY. The symposium is designed to help professionals in the paper industry understand the digital marketplace and provide insight on innovations affecting paper substrate requirements.

The conference will feature keynote presentations, educations sessions, panel discussions, and case study sessions covering topics such as the advantages of digital printing, trends in technology, market and technical factors that affect paper requirements, imaging in the digital printing world, and future developments. Attendees also will have the opportunity to tour the RIT campus, including the School of Print Media and the Printing Applications Laboratory (PAL).
