DuPont and Ominflex Finalize Sales Agreement

WILMINGTON, DE—DuPont Engineering Polymers and Omniflex have finalized a sales agreement to expedite growth of DuPont Active Layer. The two companies will focus their sales efforts on market segments that currently use thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and coated polyurethane, such as the performance apparel and healthcare products industries.

DuPont Active Layer managers water vapor through a liquid impenetrable yet breathable layer of film. The film is recyclable if used with 100% polyester fabrics. It is an ideal product for a range of applications, including surgical gowns.
