Galas de Mexico Installs Daetwyler Line

HUNTERSVILLE, NC—Galas de Mexico, located in Mexico City, will install a Max Daetwyler (MDC) fully automated Laserstar-E engraving system, scheduled to begin by the end of this year. The system also includes zinc plating, chrome plating, and finishing equipment. The company presently uses the MDC electro-mechanical engraving and plating line for its production.

Galas is packaging printer owned by the Carso Group. The converting division of the Carso Group includes Galas de Mexico, Agusa, and Almexa.
