Harper Announces College of the Year

CHARLOTTE, NC—Harper Corp. of America has named Dunwoody College of Technology, Minneapolis, MN, as the winner of the 2006 Harper Flexo College of the Year Award. Second place went to Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), Harper Campus, Charlotte, NC. Two-time winner California Polytechnic State University, San Louis Obispo, received third place.

The award was created in 2002 to encourage excellence in flexographic education. Each participating school submitted an entry which was reviewed by a panel of industry veterans and judged on a variety of criteria, including creativity and organization of information provided, flexo print samples, student perspectives on flexography, interviews with converters, and other information about the school and its printing program.
