BASF Increases Prices

PRESS RELEASE
FLORHAM PARK, NJ—Effective July 1, 2006, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its list and off-list prices in the United States, Canada, and Mexico by $0.10 per pound for Neopentylglycol (NEOL), Caprolactone Monomoer (CLO), and Hydroxypivalic acid Neopentylglycol ester (HPN). All three are used primarily for production of dry resins, alkyd resins, can and coil coatings, liquid polyester coatings, and UV-curable coatings, adhesives, and polymers. See basf.com.
