JAFZA Honors Flex Middle East FZE

DUBAI, INDIA—JAFZA (Jebel Ali Free Zone, an upcoming big industrial zone in India) has honored Flex Middle East FZE, the subsidiary of Flex Industries, located in Dubai, India, for its contribution to the environmental well-being. The Flex faciliy now is investing into expanding its capacity, including another 8.7-meter wide polyester film line with a capacity of 85 tons per day with co-extrusion in 2007, a polyester chips plant with a capacity of 200 MT per day in 2007, and another 3.3-meter wide metallizer with a capacity of 22 tons per day in 2008. The facility has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications, conforming to the highest Quality and Environmental management system. They also have received the HACCP certification for food safety.
