Specialty & Technical Papers Conference Adds Speakers

MADISON, WI—The Specialty & Technical Conference will take place July 11-12, 2006, at the Edgewater Hotel in Madison, WI. This business development conference will focus on key business issues affecting specialty and technical paper producers. Conference participants will explore product mix strategies and emerging technologies for producing new grades and adding value to existing ones. Industry executives, managers and technical staff will get a comprehensive look at how to measure costs, and add value to their products; strategies for evaluating and selling to smaller, niche markets; and how minerals, process chemistries and equipment can add value to their products.

Two new speakers have been added to the program: Kathren Kneer of Poyry Forest Industry Consulting, discussing the influence of China on the paper industry, and Sara Risch of Michigan State University, presenting the market drivers behind flexible packaging.
