ProtecPac Acquires TAP in Germany

MONTREAL, CANADA—ProtecPac has acquired TAP Telion-Air-Pac Gesellschaft fur Moderne Verpackungen mbH in Braunschweig, German, from Sweden-based Fagerdala World Foams AB. Terms of the deal are undisclosed. TAP specializes in the production of bubble film and bubble mailers, and already holds a substantial share of the western European market. It was the first company in the world to produce bubble mailers without using any medium (PE coating, adhesive, etc.) between the paper and the bubble film.
