Flexotecnica to Demonstrate Gearless Press

TAVAZZANO, ITALY—Flexotecnica will have a 52-inch-wide, eight-color Chronos sleeved gearless press available for print demonstrations from Wednesday, October 11 to Friday, October 13, 2006, at its global headquarters in Tavazzano, Italy, located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Milan. The Chronos press has been one of Flexotecnica’s most popular gearless to date, and the press to be demonstrated features: a maximum printing width of 50 inches; a maximum web width of 52 inches; repeat range from 13.8 inches to 31.5 inches; a maximum printing speed of up to 1,150 fpm,; a drying tunnel at 16 nozzles with ladder, walkways, and electrical controls container; flying splice unwind and rewind for maximum roll diameters of 39.3 inches; Eltromat Meshcon 3 video camera for web inspection and auto register control; SPEEDY CLEAN automatic wash-up system; and a new Celio Viscolor 1550 viscosity control system.
