Color Management Seminar

AKRON, OH—X-Rite has been offering a seminar that will run through February 2007 designed to help creative directors, designers, photographers, and production managers with color management. "Color Without Limits will be presented in 20 major U.S. and Canadian cities with support from HP, Apple, Adobe, Quark, Popular Photography & Imaging Magaine, Wasatch, and PaperSpecs.

The full-day seminar will demonstrate how to effectively implement digital color management for the entire workflow, including inputs, displays, editing, proofing, and every kind of final output. Instructors will help participants master best practices and color settings for the latest versions of popular applications, including Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Quark 7. Attendees will learn how to simplify color matching so that their monitor shows what is in the file and their prints match what they see on the screen.

Each registrant receives the X-Rite Color Toolkit, which includes the Eye-One Display 2 monitor calibrator and software, the Need to Know: Color manual, a full-color presentation workbook, Color Glossary, reference CD, and discounts from event sponsors.
