Global Industry Update at AWA's Global Release Liner Conference

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - The Global Release Liner Industry Conference 2007, organized by AWA Conferences & Events, will take place at the Hyatt Rosemont Hotel in Chicago, March 28-30, and highlight current trends while providing a platform for information exchange. The conference will cover four main subject areas: Industry dynamics, coating and converting trends, user views and expectations, and trends and developments in materials and silicone. The formal program is preceded by a series of concurrent workshopts - on silicone release coatings and release testing methods - followed by a round table discussion on the issues, challenges, and processes involved in mergers and acquisitions.

The conference keynote, on the subject of the state of the industry and future expectations, will be given by Neil Burns, managing director, Technical Products & Release, for Mondi Packaging Coating. Other speakers include personnel from Avery Dennison, CMAI, Degussa-Goldschmidt, ETI, Kroenert, Loparex, Rhodia Silicones, UPM Specialty Papers, and Wacker, among others.
