Print World 2006 Has Most Successful Show

TORONTO, CANADA—Print World 2006, the World of Shorter-Run Printing, drew large crowds was the most successful edition of the biennial event. More than 10,000 attendees (a 10% increase over 2004) came to the show at the Direct Energy Center, formerly the National Trade Center, from all 10 Canadian provinces, 19 American states, and several overseas countries, including Finland, the United Kingdom, Spain, India, and New Zealand.
Exhibiting companies topped the 220 mark and included the biggest names in the offset, digital, and inkjet printing markets. Many released new products to the Canadian marketplace, including the Presstek 52DI press, the Xeikon 6000 press, the Canon ImagePress C, the Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C6500, the MagmunR/C40 web press, the Fujifilm V6 violet platesetter, the Heidelberg Suprasetter A52, the Epson Stylus Pro 3800, the Mutoh PJ-1946, and the Scitex XL 1500.
