Mocon Introduces WVTR Permeation System

MINNEAPOLIS, MN | Mocon has launched a low-cost water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) analyzer, PERMATRAN-W Model 1/50 WVTR. It reportedly is between 30% and 70% less expensive than most other units. The system is a single-cell, standalone instrument designed to test medium-to-low barrier film within the range of 0.1-1,000 gm/m2 per day and less than 65 mil thick. It also can test coated paperboard. PERMATRAN-W Model 1/50 has been engineered to generate relative humidity (RH) and doesn't require additional computer software built into the unit. See mocon.com.
