Redesigned DSD Units

Kaesar Compressors has redesigned its DSD direct drive series rotary screw compressors. Available in flows from 424-1024 cfm and pressure to 217 psig, the new DSD series compressors are designed for efficiency, reliability, and minimal maintenance.

The DSD units feature optimized Sigma Profile airend, patent-pending Sigma Control system, and one-on-one direct drive technology. DSD units are true direct drive compressors with an oversized airend connected directly to the motor via a maintenance-free coupling. Remote grease fittings for the drive and fan motor also increase bearing life. Kaeser's cooling air flow design reportedly reduces noise levels. All DSD units are fitted with a redesigned, high-efficiency separator system for low oil carry over.

The new DSD units are part of the CAGI Certified Performance Verification Program. An independent, third-party laboratory will confirm the reported compressor performance. See kaeser.com/sigma.
