Label Withstands Difficult Environmental Challenges

PROVIDENCE, RI | FLEXcon's DPM (durable product markings) is a product line that features a range of polyesters and vinyls that offer durability and aesthetics to product labels for outdoor power equipment. The DPM line meets OEM requirements for labeling material that can retain legibility and graphic quality despite environmental challenges in this growing market.

The line is said to be ideal for nameplate/brand identification labels, compliance labels, warning/instructional labels, and control panel labels. Labels remain intact for the long term, withstanding moisture, cold, heat, UV exposure, and abrasion. DPM products also include special adhesives that reportedly bond well to varying surfaces and shapes, including rough textured surfaces, high surface energy plastics, and powder coated paint.

Within the product line, FLEXcon also offers several overlaminating films that give the labels an extra measure of durability, including DPM UVCG, the company's specially engineered UV-resistant overlaminate. Of the DPM products are UL recognized and/or CUL accepted. See flexcon.com.
