Collecting Ideas for Trade Shows

I'm in the fortunate position (I think!) of being able to relate ideas and criticisms to show organizers who serve the paper, film, foil, printing, carton & boxmaking, converting, and label manufacturing industries. Generally, I parrot back to them what I hear from my readers as well as the advertisers (and potential exhibitors at their shows) who attend their exhibitions. Now would be a great time to hear from PFFC's subscribers, advertisers, and website visitors who have a point of view to express.

There are primarily four major shows that serve the PFFC audience. In their chronological order of staging are Info*Flex (May 2–5 at Paris Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV); Labelexpo (September 14–16 at Stephens Convention Ctr. in Rosemont, IL), CPP Expo (in tandem with Pack Expo on October 31–November 3 at McCormick Pl., Chicago, IL), and ICE USA (April 6–8, 2011 in Orlando, FL).

So I'm preparing for a trip to attend the ICE USA Steering Committee. What do you want to see at this new show that replaces CMM? What was wrong with the old CMM that you think should be fixed by the new ICE show? And what about the other shows serving our industry? Which shows do you plan to attend and why? Your feedback would really be helpful to me–and the show organizers who want your show experience to be optimized to its fullest potential!
