Pilot Coating Line Announced

White City, OR | New pilot toll coating capabilities for low-cost, small-run, and experimental projects are offered by Tollcoating.com and include roll coating (one-, two-, and three-roll; forward and reverse), gravure, Mayer rod, polishing bar, and slot die coating to supplement research and formulation services.

The pilot line will be located in the same facility as its production machines and will provide CDT, UV curing, hot air drying, and lamination capabilities similar to the full scale lines. Current product and process development efforts include formulations for nanoparticle coatings, multi-layer solvent, and aqueous coatings, as well as emulsion and dispersion preparation and delivery.
