C-P Adds Lamination Capacity

FULTON, NY | A new lamination line from Davis-Standard has been instrumental in helping C-P Flexible Packaging, York, PA, support the needs of its snack food customers. The line features new Integrator control technology and a regenerative, shaftless turret unwind splicer. It produces laminated structures comprising extruded PE between two films, including OPP and PET. The films can be clear, printed, or metallized.
“Over half of our business is in extrusion lamination,” says Mike Takis, engineering manager. “Not only did Davis-Standard address our technical needs, but they achieved an ambitious timeline due to our business growth and future opportunities.”
