MOCON Testing System Cuts Time to Market

MINNEAPOLIS, MN | MOCON announces the OX-TRAN Model 2/22 10X system, said to help companies better manage testing costs and deliver product to market in a shorter time frame. 

Reported to be well suited for a wide variety of applications that require ultra-high oxygen barrier, product is recommended for film and resin manufacturers, converters, and brand owners in industries including electronics (OLED and thin film), solar, vacuum panel, food, pharmaceutical, and medical devices who benefit from system’s sensitivity for measuring oxygen transmission characteristics of films and packages.

Company says unit measures film barriers to 5x10-4 cc/(m2 x day) at precise temperature and relative humidity conditions and can handle a broad range of flexible materials including all plastics, as well as foil and metallized structures.
