NewPage Introduces Specialty Paper

STEVENS POINT, WI | NewPage Corp., a supplier of specialty papers, announces the introduction of FlexPack Essential, flexible packaging papers designed for lamination and extrusion applications in food and medical packaging.
Designed for flexible packaging requiring a smooth, semi-gloss finish and FDA compliance for food contact, FlexPack Essential works with emulsion, solventless, and solvent laminations and is available in a variety of basis weights from 22.5#–55# (3,000 ft2). Company also says paper’s rigidity and on-the-shelf performance offer brand owners a more sustainable flexible packaging option when compared to traditional film substrates.
