Clondalkin Rebrands Two UK Businesses

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS | International packaging producer Clondalkin Group is rebranding its two UK-based consumer packaging businesses. CB Packaging and AP Burt will trade as Clondalkin Consumer Bangor and Clondalkin Consumer Bristol respectively.

The move follows several years of organic and acquisitive investment by Clondalkin Group across a range of markets, and will complete the rebrand of all 35 of its production locations ensuring that each one of them sits very clearly under the Clondalkin Group brand.

Clondalkin Consumer Bangor is a manufacturer of multiwall paper sacks for the Irish, UK, and European markets, manufacturing sacks for a wide range of markets including milk powder, flour, animal feed, seeds, pet food, root crops, and building materials.

Clondalkin Consumer Bristol manufactures retail branded paper and PE bags, with customers including major supermarkets, bakery and fast food chains sandwich bars, coffee houses, chemists, and gift shops.

Malcolm Farnan, Clondalkin Group sales and marketing director, says, “We started out on a rebranding program three years ago, bringing each of our companies under the Clondalkin Group banner. In some instances, as with AP Burt and CB Packaging, the business names remained. We feel now is the right time for these companies to realize the full potential of our international brand. Customers can still expect to receive the same quality, value, and service on which these businesses have built their reputation. The rebranding program is designed to ensure that the market has a clear understanding of the Group's international presence and capabilities across the entire spread of key markets in which we operate."
