Pantec System Applies Holograms in Volume

KRADOLF, SWITZERLAND | Pantec GS Systems reports that the SWIFT system allows application of 200,000 registered holograms/hr. 

Said to offer luxury brand protection and security with multiple, coalesced foils in one unit at an affordable cost. Company says system is flexible and easy to adapt for registered patches, saving foil for bottles and tubes. Cross foiling of full-width foil stripes, typically for tax stamps going on rolls or continuous narrow streams foiling with bobbins, is possible.

Company adds that large global groups are benefitting utilizing the system to manufacture security labels for high value products in computer, mobile phones, automotive, and oil industries, as well as for high-value brands in tobacco, cosmetics, and health care.

The enhancing foil saver use is no longer just for experts, says Pantec CEO Peter Frei. “SWIFT is bringing a new level of efficiency to holographic foils application, which allows our customers to offer great effects at low cost. The in-line availability of patch holograms with [the system] has led to strategic decisions of market leaders [to use it].”
