Pregis Opens Facility in Mexico

DEERFIELD, IL | Pregis, a supplier of protective packaging solutions, has expanded operations in Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico, to serve a wide variety of industries including automotive, consumer electronics, agriculture, aerospace, and fulfillment.

Company says the facility features state-of-the-art equipment for the manufacture of Astro-Foam polyethylene sheet foam and PolyPlank closed-cell PE plank foam.

Pregis also says it has a dedicated sales team to support the growing needs in Mexico for on-demand, high-efficiency protective packaging equipment systems. Reportedly, the systems will help higher-volume Mexican businesses improve production efficiencies and reduce floor space needed to store protective packaging inventories.
