Danafilms Doubles Facility & Capacity

WESTBOROUGH, MA | Danafilms is doubling the size of its Franklin, KY, facility, adding 50,000 sq ft to make room for a new Windmoeller & Hoelscher seven-layer blown film coextrusion line. The company is investing $7 million and plans to start up the new line before year end.

Aaron LaPoint, coextrusion technical manager, says, “With a seven-layer coextrusion, we can provide very precise properties in the most cost-effective configuration possible. With a second line available, we can get the finished work to the customer much faster. This Windmoeller & Hoelscher line is a fantastic piece of equipment, and the new one has all the lateast bells and whistles.”
