Acquisition, New Name

MILWAUKEE, WI | Mason Wells has signed an agreement to acquire Appleton Performance Packaging from Appleton Papers. The business will be renamed NEX Performance Films and will be owned by Mason Wells, current management, and other co-investors.

With facilities in Milton and Rhinelander, WI, as well as Turners Falls, MA, NEX Performance Films will provide a broad array of PE films.

Mesirow Financial, Chicago, IL, acted as exclusive financial advisor to Appleton Papers on the sale.
