Tempting Tea Package

FullyLoadedTea is as much a concept as a tea. The Vancouver, BC, Canada-based company offers teas with exotic berries full of vitamins and antioxidants and blends them with premium whole-leaf green, black, and white teas. The packaging, from Subplot Design, features a logomark “bursting so much with goodness and flavor that the letterforms are swelling to capacity.” The tea leaf anchors the logomark and brings it fully in sync with the purity of the product, adds the designer. A flavor-inspired painted background features illustrated fruit blends and iconic photography. The packaging system integrates a unique drop-down drawer for restaurant and café display. The packaging recently won a Gold Award at Canada's 2007 Design Exchange Awards in the Visual Communications: Brand & Identity category.
